Violence Data Exchange

For the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), DSG developed and conducted an innovative Violence Prevention Data Exchange Team training with teams from 40 communities. The training was designed to help communities collect data on the kinds of substance abuse–related violence occurring in their local areas, and use the data to direct resources and programs toward violence prevention and intervention appropriate to their communities.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Specialized training was conducted for communities along the United States–Mexico border. CSAP was awarded a PHS Special Recognition Award for the project.
