DSG’s Justice Practice is devoted to reducing and preventing all forms of crime and violence, and to improving outcomes for juveniles and adults who come in contact with the justice system, through the study and application of evidence-based programs, practices, and interventions.

DSG engages in original quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research to shed light on poorly understood juvenile and criminal justice issues. We also conduct systematic research reviews, meta-analyses, and secondary data analysis.
DSG is an established leader in assessing the evidence of criminal justice, juvenile justice, and crime victim service programs and practices. For the U.S. Department of Justice, we designed, developed, and manage two nationally recognized clearinghouses of evidence-based programs and practices.
